Information you provide directly

  • Account data: email address, name, and password when you register
  • Portfolio data: stock tickers, number of shares, buy prices, and watchlist items you enter
  • Payment data: billing details processed securely by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers)
  • Communications: messages you send us via support or feedback forms
  • Preferences: newsletter schedule, alert settings, and other account preferences

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, and interactions within the platform
  • Device data: browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers
  • Log data: server logs, error reports, and performance data

Data we do not collect

  • We do not connect to your brokerage account — all portfolio data is entered manually by you
  • We do not collect government IDs, Social Security numbers, or tax information

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Meyka platform
  • Generate personalized AI newsletters and chatbot responses based on your portfolio
  • Send price alerts and newsletter emails on your chosen schedule
  • Process subscription payments and manage billing
  • Respond to support requests and user communications
  • Monitor platform security and prevent abuse or fraud
  • Analyse aggregate usage patterns to improve the product (never individual-level targeting for ads)
  • Comply with legal obligations

04 Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We may share limited data with trusted third parties only as necessary to operate the Service:

  • Cloud infrastructure: Supabase (PostgreSQL database hosting)
  • Payment processing: Stripe or similar PCI-compliant processor (payment data never touches our servers)
  • Email delivery: a transactional email provider for alerts and newsletters
  • AI processing: anonymized portfolio context may be passed to AI model providers solely to generate your newsletter and chatbot responses

We may also disclose your data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Meyka, our users, or the public.

05 Data Retention

We retain your account and portfolio data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax compliance).

Server logs and usage analytics may be retained in aggregated, anonymized form for product improvement purposes.

06 Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

  • HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
  • Encrypted passwords (never stored in plain text)
  • Row-level security on our database (Supabase)
  • Restricted internal access to personal data on a need-to-know basis

No system is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • AI model providers (Anthropic / OpenAI) — AI newsletter and chatbot generation
  • Financial data providers — real-time stock prices and news aggregation

10 Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will delete the account promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a notice on the platform. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this policy regularly.
